LifeWars simulates the struggle for survival of species versus species.
You draw the starting colonies in different colors and then set them loose. Watch as they breed, die, and eat each other. You can just watch the unpredictable events unfold or place a wager on your favorite species.
LifeWars is based on the cellular automaton commonly known as the Game of Life designed by the British mathematician John Conway. As in Conways game, a cell lives, dies, or is born depending on how many neighboring cells there are. LifeWars adds the dimension of species to the game where up to four different types of life can be staged to fight for survival.
You can draw your own starting patterns or use the random button to create a primordial soup. Zoom and pan are supported using two fingers to assist with drawing.
